Bridal Shower Gifts for The Hostesses

Let’s talk bridal shower gifts! But for the hostesses! I LOVE gift-giving. So any chance I’ve had with showering my bridesmaids with gifts, I have taken it. My bridesmaids, mom and moh hosted a beautiful bridal shower for me and I knew it was going to be amazing before it even happened. So I decided that I wanted to give my hostesses all a little gift that I hoped they would appreciate. My bridesmaids have all been so amazing to me and all my crazy ideas and they have all had their lives still going on while still being awesome to me. I went back and forth on what to get them, I was debating on something useful like an everyday item, or something that they wouldn’t buy for themselves. I then decided to get them things to help them start getting ready for my bachelorette. Essentially some items that would be later one less expense for them, so let’s get started.

1.Personalized travel bag with the basics; dry shampoo, travel size makeup wipes, bobby pins, hair ties, tinted lip moisturizer. I actually found these super cute bags from Hobby Lobby and I made the decal with each of their names with my Silhouette machine. I found the tassels from Michaels and added those to the zipper. I decided on adding each of these items because I knew itwould come handy and again, all essential items, that would make it one less thing for them to buy for the trip.

2.Tory Burch Flip-Flops: I wanted to get them each an item that they would be able to use after Cabo! I purchased these super cute flip flops, each reminding me of their personality or neutral enough to be able to wear while we are at the beach or just because on day while running errands 🙂 Lol btw, I looked crazy at the Tory Burch store trying to get all their sizes in all different patterns. Thankfully the sales associates were so patient and so was my fiance! Haha.

3. Matching Tank: Since my fiance got me the Silhouette machine, I have gone crazy taking the chance to craft things lol. So I decided to make us shirts that we could wear during the trip. I made theirs in pink with “Cabo Now Vows Later” and mine in white.

Lastly here is how I presented it to them and I also included a thank you card to each of them just expressing my gratitude for all that they have done thus far.

As for my mom, my MOH and I decided to do a joint gift! My MOH was constantly working with my mom when it came to planning so she felt like thanking her as well. We gave her a basket that included the following:

  • Wine Bottle
  • Starbucks GC
  • Fun summer earrings
  • Eyeshadow palette
  • Face Masks
  • Moisturizer set
  • BBW Candle
  • MOB Tote

We forgot to take a picture (face palm) but either ways she loved it! There were so many ideas I came across, like travel jewelry bag, or travel makeup case for the girls. Again gifting all the bridesmaids was not  something that I felt was a mandatory thing, neither did I think that they expected it. However, it is still nice to gift your hostess a small thank you gift, whether your Future Mother in Law hosted a shower in your honor, they are not doing it to receive a gift from your but it is still unexpected and again just to show your appreciation. Also the gift doesn’t have to buy anything lavish, I know my girls would have been happy with a wine bottle or anything alcohol related haha! Anyways, if you decide to get your girls “thank you” gifts, just remember there is still a gift for the actual wedding day, so take that into consideration for your budget! If you need more ideas make sure to check out any of my gift guides for items 🙂 Til next time!
